Senior UX Designer
We’re looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to create thoughtful, intuitive and beautifully crafted ecommerce experiences. You’ll work across UX, UI, interaction and prototyping, combining strong ecommerce thinking with bold, brand-led ideas. You’ll care about the details that make digital experiences
What you'll do
- Lead UX/UI design across ecommerce projects from early concepts through to final handoff.
- Turn customer, brand and commercial needs into thoughtful, intuitive experiences.
- Explore and iterate on ideas to find the strongest design solution.
- Create polished, responsive interfaces with a strong eye for detail and interaction.
- Bring brands to life through motion, micro-interactions and memorable digital moments.
- Build prototypes to communicate interactions and design intent.
- Present and clearly articulate design thinking to clients and the wider team.
- Contribute to scalable design systems and ways of working.
- Collaborate closely with Strategy, Client Success and Engineering.
- Explore AI and emerging tools to improve the quality and efficiency of the design process.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in UX/UI, digital or web design, ideally within an agency.
- Strong ecommerce UX experience and an understanding of customer journeys and conversion.
- Exceptional visual craft and a portfolio of polished digital experiences.
- A strong design point of view and the confidence to explain your thinking.
- A curious, concept-driven approach and a willingness to push beyond the obvious solution.
- Strong Figma, prototyping and design systems experience.
- An interest in motion, animation and interaction design.
- Confidence collaborating with developers and designing for responsive web.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Shopify or Shopify Plus experience is highly desirable.
- An interest in AI and emerging design tools.
