Strangelove

Strangelove is a pioneering Australian drink company, known for challenging conventions and embracing a distinct, irreverent brand voice. They do everything their own way, setting themselves apart in both style and substance.

Strangelove’s bold, tongue-in-cheek tone needed a website that could showcase its unique voice while amplifying their clever, witty copy. The challenge was to design a platform that highlighted their brand identity without overwhelming it with unnecessary design elements.

We took a minimalist approach, stripping the site back to its essentials. This allowed the brand’s microcopy and striking imagery to take centre stage, giving the witty tone of voice the spotlight it deserved.

To elevate the copy further, we introduced dynamic animations that brought the words to life. In key areas, text appears to write itself, creating an interactive and playful experience that reflects Strangelove’s personality, while giving the site a clever, almost sentient quality.

By embracing simplicity, we created a platform that lets Strangelove’s unique brand voice shine. The interplay of clean design and interactive animations enhances the brand’s irreverent personality, resulting in a site that feels as distinct and bold as the drinks themselves.
